Morfi for Mac
File converter · macOS 14 or later
Convert photos, videos, documents and more on your Mac.
Drop a file on Morfi’s window. Morfi identifies the file type and shows the formats it can become, with the most likely choice first. Choose one and the converted file is saved next to the original.
Preparing for the Mac App Store
Morfi is being prepared for its first release. This page will link to the Mac App Store when it is available.
Supported files
Morfi works with 165 file types, including:
- Pictures: HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, PSD and camera RAW.
- Video and audio: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, FLV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, WAV and Opus.
- Documents: PDF, Word, RTF, Markdown, web pages, ebooks, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Data, subtitles, maps and GPS tracks, 3D models, fonts and archives.
On your Mac
Every conversion happens on your Mac. Files are not uploaded. Privacy X-ray shows hidden details in a file, such as where a photo was taken, and can remove them.
Free and Pro
Morfi converts 3 files a day for free, of any kind. Morfi Pro is one permanent in-app purchase, with no subscription, that removes the daily limit. The App Store shows the price in your local currency before purchase.
Purchase and Restore Purchases are available in Settings → Morfi Pro.
Built for macOS
Morfi opens with its main window and has an icon in the menu bar. The optional drop shelf opens a row of formats when you drag a file to the top of the screen from any app; while it is on, Morfi appears in the menu bar instead of the Dock. Opening at login is optional and off by default. No account is required, and Morfi includes no analytics or advertising.
